Their delicate and expensive nature means that traditional alteration methods may not appropriate. Whether your gown is made of lace, taffeta, chiffon, organza, satin and silk, we know how to make your dress quintessential.

Perfection Takes Times
Our main objective will always be that ‘Our Brides’ look and feel their absolute best on their wedding day. We recommend you book your first visit with us 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding day to help ensure ample time for all types of wedding dress alterations. And if you are planning on having your dress steamed by a dry cleaner, it’s ideal to add 1 to 2 weeks to your time frame. However, if you are short on time, we also have expediated services available to encompass all client’s schedules.
A Second Opinion is Always Welcome
We highly encourage you to invite your Maid of Honor, bridesmaid, mother or any another important friend whose opinion you value to accompany you for your consultation and appointments with us. Not only can your guest assist you when making some important decisions with regards to altering your bridal dress, we have also found our client’s experience is more valuable when shared with someone special. And with our large fitting room and guest seating area, everyone will be confidence and comfortable.
Always Bring Your Shoes
We recommend that you bring your shoes to every fitting. If you do not have the exact shoes which you will be wearing on your wedding day yet, please bring a pair of shoes which have the same heel height for your initial fitting. We also recommend that you bring any undergarments or accessories essential to the dress for your consultation and fittings, as these may assist you in envisioning your overall look.
Dress Train and Bustle Alternatives
If your dress has a train and you plan to dance while wearing it, you may wish to have your dress bustled. We specialize creating all different types of bustles; from the traditional single point to more complex 3/5 point French bustles. As experts in bustle design, we can recommend a bustle that suits your dress during your consultation and make a final decision after your dress has been properly hemmed. And included in our bustle fashioning service, we will provide your Maid of Honor or bridesmaid a short instruction in store on how to tie your bustle correctly during your final fitting.

The first step in our process is to arrange a ‘Bridal Consultation’ with our Master Seamstress to help you illuminate your desired needs, provide professional recommendations, and present you with a breakdown of your wedding gown/outfit’s estimated alteration cost.
Since each bride’s gown and experience requires varying alterations and modifications, our rate is always based on the time we utilize to complete your alterations and is presented initially as an estimate.
Bridal Consultation Service – $68
From the very first moment, we work with you to determine your needs and build a foundation of trust between us. This specialize consultation is exclusively for Bridal Gowns/Outfits and helps ensure ‘Our Brides’ always look and feel amazing – right from your initial appointment.
Your Bridal Consultation includes:
- A personal examination of your wedding gown/outfit with our Master Seamstress complete with professional recommendations and advice.
- A specialized dress fitting, modelled by you, and pinned in front of our large wall mirror, to assist you in visualizing the potential appearance of your gown/outfit.
- Expert bustle designing and fashioning recommendations.
- A comfortable seating area for up to 3 guests.
- Reduced alteration rates for your bridesmaids and groomsmen attending your wedding.
- Expediated Services for last minute alterations or touch ups. Please note there are higher rates associated with this service.
- At the conclusion of this (up to) 30minute session, we will present you with an itemized estimate of your Bridal alterations to help you decide which alterations you desire.
No obligations – You can decide if we do some, all, or none of the alterations – it’s your choice!

The first step in our process is to arrange a Formal Dress Consultation with our Master Seamstress to assist you in illuminating your desired needs, provide professional recommendations, and present you with a breakdown of your Dress/Outfit’s estimated alteration cost.
Since every dress/outfit and client’s preference requires varying alterations and modifications, our rate is based on the expected time requirement to complete your alterations and is presented initially as an estimate.

Formal Dress Consultation Service – $35 (up to 15-minutes)
Our service provides (both of) us the time to determine your needs and build a foundation of trust between us. Our main objective will always be, to help our Clients look and feel amazing – right from your initial appointment. This consultation is perfect for a formal dress or outfit, a bridesmaid or maid of honor dress, and a lady’s tailored suit.
Your Consultation includes:
- A personal examination of your dress/outfit with our Master Seamstress complete with professional recommendations and advice.
- A specialized dress fitting, modelled by you, and pinned in front of our large wall mirror, to assist you in visualizing the potential appearance of your gown/outfit.
- An itemized Estimation: At the conclusion of your consultation, we will present you with an itemized estimate to help you decide which alterations fit your plan/budget.
- A large, accessible fitting room with a comfortable seating area for up to 3 guests.
- Expediated Services for last minute alterations/touch ups. Note: Expediated rates are higher than our standard rates which depends on the base cost and standard service schedule.
It’s Your Choice – You decide which services you need; all of them, some of them, or none of them – your only obligation is the consultation fee.
Lastly, if your dress requires only a few alterations, such as hemming or taking in/letting out, do not worry about the cost of the consultation. If you decide to order the alterations, we will utilize the consultation to prepare your dress for alterations.

Please submit your booking information on the form provided. In the message area, please inform us if your dress is a ‘princess gown’, or contains a corset backing, as these types of dresses require a longer consultation appointment (for up to 30 minutes) at a rate of $58.
We recommend you book your consultation 3-4 weeks before the day you require your dress. Please ensure you arrive for your appointment with the proper undergarments and shoes for your dress to ensure a successful consultation.

Due to our background in Fashion Design, we are experienced in redesigning portions of a dress which allow new life to be given to the garment. We can add color, style or flair – or we can eliminate it. Your vision can inspire the outcome, or you can rely on us to create something fresh. Your dress should be the way you want it to be.
